Jan Rowe Capps joined the Moses Cone Wesley Long Community Health Foundation in July 2007. Prior to joining the Foundation, Jan retired from Syngenta after a 26-year career. During that time, she held leadership positions in Finance, Strategic Planning and Human Resources for the North American organization. Capps is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Psychology ('75) and of Wake Forest University with a Masters in Business Administration ('79). She serves on the Board of Trustees for Guilford Day School and as a Board member for Communities in Schools of Greater Greensboro. She was recently appointed to the Board of Visitors for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Previously, she served on the Board of the United Way of Greater Greensboro, the Board of Advisors for UNC-Greensboro's Bryan School of Business and on the Board of Governors for "2 Those Who Care", the Community Awards arm for WFMY-2 in Greensboro. |
