Organizations and projects seeking funding higher than $40,000 per year and meet the criteria specified in the funding priorities and eligibility guidelines may be qualified to apply for a Direct Foundation Grant.
At the beginning of each funding cycle, the Foundation issues a ‘Request for Proposals’ that invites organizations to apply for DF Grants in particular areas of interest. The Foundation, however, also encourages organizations to submit innovative concepts and programs at any time of the year that are consistent with the mission and funding priorities of the Foundation.
Through the Direct Foundation Grant program, Moses Cone-Wesley Long Community Health Foundation seeks to provide funding to organizations and programs that address either of the following priorities.
